Class descriptions
Basic Belly Dance 101
An introduction to the basic movements of belly dance. For the new or continuing student
Belly Dance 101 Continuing
Continue adding new moves and put it all together with choreography. Completion of
Basic Belly Dance 101 required.
Intermediate
Combinations, technique and veils for the continuing student. Completion of both
Basic Belly Dance 101 and Continuing required.
Day Time Class Name
Mondays 5:45pm - 7:oo pm Basic Belly Dance 101
Wednesdays 6:00pm - 7:30pm Troupe Class
Series fees are $80.00 for 8-week series or $15.00 per class "drop in" rate
Class Policies and Information
Attire
Comfortable clothing that won't restrict movement such as yoga pants, sweats etc is fine.
Hip scarves are available in the studio for use in class. We dance in bare feet, socks or
soft sole dance shoes. Street shoes may not be worn on the dance floor.
Cell Phones/Pagers
Cell phones and pagers must function in a silent mode.
Social Networking Sites
I respect my students' privacy. It is the policy of this studio that contact information
and/or photos of a student are not released without the permission of the student. This
includes, but is not limited to, any Internet social networking sites.
Guests
These classes are for women only and participation requires registration; however, at the
instructors discretion occasional observation of a class is possible.
Please do not bring small children to the class.
Additional Classes and Makeup Classes
Credit for missed classes can not be carried forward. Refunds are not given unless
a class is canceled. Due to the 8 week course structure, I can not offer an individual
makeup class; however, the beginning of each class will include a previous class
refresher. Also, detailed choreography notes are available for registered students.
Referrals and discounts
Refer a friend and receive $5.00 off 1 class per enrolling referral. Tuition discounts
are available for multiple members of a household. The first enrollment is at full fee
and all others from that household are at half fee.
